AMH Anchorage Cup Race #1: Freestyle 2020-21

The AMH Anchorage Cup Citizen Races are five ski events brought to you by the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage and sponsored by Alaska Mountaineering and Hiking. Skiers of all ages and abilities are welcome. The goal is to have fun, ski on well-groomed trails, and enjoy the amazing Anchorage ski community.

This series is for people of all ages and abilities choose a distance, line up on the start line, and go! Whether you prefer the warmth of wool or the speed of spandex, whether you want to go as fast as you can or ski with friends, it’s a great way to get outside on a Sunday and enjoy the winter!

Bib pick-up: starting at 11:30am and leading up to the race times

Start Times: Subject to Change.

• Interval starts: 1 racer every :30 seconds. Based on your Race Class (your speed: Average, Fast, Very Fast) in the registration: 
  • 10k
    • 12-12:20pm: Very Fast Starts
    • 12:20-:12:40pm: Fast Starts
    • 12:40-1:00pm: Average Starts
  • 5k
    • 1:00-1:15pm: Very Fast Starts
    • 1:15-1:30pm: Fast Starts
    • 1:30 -1:45pm: Average Starts
  • 3k 
    • 1:45-2:00pm: Very Fast Starts
    • 2:00-2:15pm: Fast Starts
    • 2:15 -2:30pm: Average Starts

To get the NSAA Member Discount Pricing you must login to the Member Portal. 

Not a member yet? Follow the Instructions below:  

1. Become a 2020-21 NSAA Member. 

2. Use your Confirmation Email to proceed and login to our Member Portal. (If you don't receive this immediately, please call the NSAA Office.

3. Select ‘Current Events’ in the dropdown menu on the top right and search for AMH Anchorage Cup Race.

4. Proceed with the Registration!
