AMH Anchorage Cup Race #3 2020-21

The AMH Anchorage Cup Citizen Races are five ski events brought to you by the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage and sponsored by Alaska Mountaineering and Hiking. Skiers of all ages and abilities are welcome. The goal is to have fun, ski on well-groomed trails, and enjoy the amazing Anchorage ski community.

This series is for people of all ages and abilities choose a distance, line up on the start line, and go! Whether you prefer the warmth of wool or the speed of spandex, whether you want to go as fast as you can or ski with friends, it’s a great way to get outside on a Sunday and enjoy the winter!

Welcome to Race #3, the Classic & Wooden Ski Classic! 

Bib pick-up: starting at 11:30am and leading up to the race times in front of the Wax Bunker.

Start Times: Exact brackets will be posted on Saturday. 

• Interval starts: 1 racer every :20 seconds. Based on your Race Class (your speed: Average, Fast, Very Fast) in the registration: 
  • 25k, approx. start times: 12:00-12:20pm
  • 15k, approx. start times: 12:25-1:40pm
  • 5k, approx. start times: 1:45-2:05pm
  • 3k, approx. start times: 2:10-2:30pm

How to Register: 

There are 3 registration options:

NSAA Member:

1. Login into the NSAA Member Portal.
2. Select ‘Current Events’ in the dropdown menu on the top right and search for AMH Anchorage Cup Race #2.
3. Proceed with the Registration!

Not a Member Yet?

1. Become a 2020-21 NSAA Member.
2. Use your Confirmation Email to proceed and login to our Member Portal. (If you don’t receive this immediately, please call the NSAA Office).
3. Select ‘Current Events’ in the dropdown menu on the top right and search for AMH Anchorage Cup Race #2.
4. Proceed with the Registration!

Not an NSAA Member:
